Job Description

We re seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Golang and Python expertise to build scalable applications for Magna, a leader in automotive innovation. Based in Troy, MI, you ll collaborate on-site with cross-functional teams and occasionally travel to Canada, requiring strong communication and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable apps using Golang and Python
• Translate business needs into technical solutions with product managers
• Conduct code reviews and optimize performance
• Ensure service reliability, security, and scalability
• Coordinate with Canadian teams as needed

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Golang and Python (both required)
• Expertise in backend services, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native development
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Local to Troy, MI
• Ability to travel to Canada (valid passport/visa if applicable)

Preferred Skills

• Automotive or manufacturing domain experience
• Knowledge of microservices and CI/CD pipelines
